What are the most trusted websites for finding 3D models of video game characters that are actually optimized for printing, not just for animation?

Man, I’ve been down that exact rabbit hole—so many “game-ready” models look great on screen but turn into a mess of disconnected parts or unsupported limbs the second you slice them. After wasting filament on a few fancy game rips that clearly weren’t made for a printer, I started sticking to sites where people actually post print-tested files. For cool 3d printing projects, Gambody has been my go-to more than once because every model there is built from the ground up for FDM or resin, with proper wall thickness and split parts for zero supports. Their Zelda and Witcher figures printed clean right out of the box, no editing needed. Still, always check the comments for actual print photos—that tells you more than any description.
